This is my creation for CAS-ual Fridays/Market Street Stamps BLOCK PARTY! For the Market Street Stamps challenge, the only rule was that I had to use a product from Market Street Stamps. The challenge for CAS-ual Fridays was to use kraft and twine, so I combined both challenges to create this fun little card.

I love this sweet little snail! The snail and sentiment are from Market Street Stamps Slow Movin' set. I thought this little snail would look absolutely darling with a spiral twine shell. After stamping the snail and sentiment on the card, I stamped an additional snail on scrap kraft cardstock and cut out the shell. I placed the shell upside-down in my Xyron 1.5" Create-a-Sticker so the adhesive would be on the top of the shell. I wound the twine around the outside of the shell and worked my way toward the center. I then adhered the finished shell with foam for added dimension. Lastly, I rounded the bottom corners and added pink pearl embellishments to create the plump, rosy cheeks.
Supplies Used
Twine: The Twinery (blossom)
Ink: Memento
Stamps: Market Street Stamps
Kraft cardstock: Recollections
Pearls: Kaiserkraft
Thanks for taking a peek!
