Echo Park Paper Holiday Card Contest Entry

This is my entry for Echo Park Paper's holiday card exchange.  We were asked to submit one holiday card made with Echo Park paper.  I created this little die-cut stocking using paper from the Holly Jolly line.  Such fun paper!  I machine stitched the top, heel, and toe and added rhinestone berries, punched holly leaves, and a baker's twine hanger.  That's it!
Finished card size is approx. 5 1/2"x 3 1/2"
Closeup of the holly, stitching and hanger detail.
I die-cut the stocking using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  I set the machine at 5 1/2".  I cut two white stockings, one plaid stocking, and the stocking layers.  I backed the plaid stocking with a white die-cut so the stitching wouldn't show.  I scored the top of the other white die-cut and attached it to the top of the stocking so the card would open up.   The leaves were punched using a Martha Stewart holly leaf punch and I adhered Divine Twine's baker's twine between the two card layers using Glue Dots

Thanks for taking a look!
