Welcome back to Unique Crafters Challenge sponsored by Scrapbooking Unique! This month's challenge is to use paper flowers somewhere in your paper crafted creation. Challenge #2: Paper Flowers, begins on April 1 and ends at midnight (CST) on April 30.
You can link up to three different projects for your chance to win a
fantastic prize package! A winner and two runners up will be announced
on May 5. Be sure to read all of the fine print on the Unique Crafters Challenge blog homepage.
I used the card sketch from Authentique Paper's March sketch challenge as my inspiration. I love the banner and floral elements in the sketch.
The paper flowers were originally white. To add color, I placed them face down on a pigment ink pad and gently pressed them down with my index finger until they were colored to my liking. The paper soaked up quite a bit of ink so it took quite a while for them to dry!
Supplies:
Paper, sentiment (Authentique Paper's Journey collection))
Ink (Clearsnap, Tim Holtz Distress Ink)
Twine (May Arts)
Rhinestones (Nicole Crafts)
I can't wait to see what you will create!
