If you make crafts for long enough, soon everything starts looking like a viable craft supply. I look at my kitchen supplies differently, and scraps and packaging becomes infinitely more interesting. I love to throw stuff away and declutter, but if a scrap has the slightest bit of visual or textural interest, it gets thrown into a pile of stuff to craft with "later".
One of the current challenges over at Moxie Fab World is to use common household supplies in a paper craft. I have been hanging on to some colored paper reinforcers forever knowing that one day they would make a fun craft or card. Here is what I came up with:
The repeated geometric pattern on this card is also on trend. Not only did I create the pattern on the card with the circles, but I used them to create a scallop border around the sentiment. Fun, huh?
Go on, dive into your stash of office goodies and make a craft!
