I am not much of a journal writer, but when I go on vacation, I do like to have a small notebook where I can store keepsakes and make little notes about the things we do.
I also have this thing for bricks and vines lately. :) I altered a kraft notebook cover by adding a brick print and a climbing vine with flowers. I kept the cover fairly low-profile knowing that this would eventually be stuffed in a suitcase. Maybe I can add some doodles or graffiti to the cover, too.
The EC Button flower tool makes the cutest little embellishments! Slide in your paper, punch, and voila! you have a perfect little flower.
Have a happy summer!
