Tuesday Trigger: A Pin Therein

ETA: I missed the TT deadline, but here's the card anyway.  :)

It has been a while since I have played along with Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger.  Between summer vacation and getting our house ready to sell, there has been little time for crafting!  In fact, I almost forgot to post this card which is why I am blogging at 11:30pm.  Here is my entry for the Pin Therein challenge over at Moxie Fab World:

I used GCD Studios Country Charm collection for the hexagons on this card.  I love the colors and the patterns.  They compliment each other perfectly!  I zigzag stitched around random hexagons so the card wouldn't look too cluttered.  I finished the edges of the card with zigzag stitching, too.  I dolled up some cute chipboard embellies and the card was done!  

While creating that many stitches on a card is not difficult, it was a bit time consuming to pull all of the threads through for a seamless look.
