Altered Wooden Christmas Sleigh

Although it is the day after Christmas, I have one more Christmas craft to share.  I created an altered wooden sleigh for Porters Craft & Frame to display in the store.  Keep an eye out for this one, too.

I altered a wooden sleigh from KaiserCraft with the Winter Wonderland collection from My Mind's Eye.

I used paint, patterned paper, chipboard die cuts, cardstock stickers, enamel brads, and all sorts of other goodies to gussy up this sleigh.

I decorated the front of the sleigh to resemble the front of a car.

The rear of the sleigh also resembles that of  a car.

I made three little gift boxes and wrapped them with twine and jingle bells.  These are my favorite part of the whole project!

Here is another look at the gift boxes.  A few jingle bells and some twine would make any Christmas gift look festive and fantastic.
Happy day to you!
