Valentine's Day Mailbox Part Deux

Don't you just adore miniatures?  I don't know what it is about tiny objects that makes me squeal, but they do.  My 6 year old daughter and I love to "Eeeek!" and "Awww" over anything cute and tiny.

I am totally in love with tiny mailboxes and thought it would be fitting to create one for Valentine's Day.  I have made a more traditional mailbox in the past, but wanted to try a post office mailbox this time around.

I used all sorts of delicious goodies from Doodlebug's new Lovebirds collection.  The colors are bright and cheery and I just can't resist the little birdies.  Awwww!  The mailbox opens up so to keep it closed,  I added a button closure with a tiny baker's twine pom pom.  Eeeek!

I used all sorts of stickers to doll up the outside of mailboxTiny hearts everywhere!  Eeeek!

Unwind the pom pom and the little mailbox opens up to reveal a space filled with teeny tiny love notes.  Awwww!    I got the mailbox die cutting file from svgcuts.com  and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the file.

I wish all mail were this tiny and cute.  Eeeek!  If I ever feel sad, I just hold one of these and I feel all better.

Look!  Tiny little envelopes and tiny little notes.  Awwww!   The little notes are printed on both sides, but one side is blank so you can add your own tiny love note.  It took a combination of threats and empty promises to keep my 6 year-old's sticky little fingers off of these.  (JK)  She was raring to hoard them in her box of tiny things.

Do you love mini things?  What miniatures are your favorite?

Thanks for stopping by today!
