Love song lyrics on the front of a card? Yes, please! I am not much of a wordsmith, so I prefer to let the song writers do the hard work for me. Today I am sharing a couple of fun cards I made with a ton of Doodlebug goodness and some catchy lyrics. Check it:
As soon as I saw this Doodlebug bandage sticker I knew exactly what lyrics I wanted to use on a card. Not exactly a smooshy love card, but it sure would lift the spirits of someone who has recently had a break-up. (Or for someone whose favorite TV character has just died.)
I die cut a heart and hand cut the crack down the middle. The tiny little heart on the bandage sticker is the perfect little, glittery accent.
And the inspiration for this song? Love Hurts by Nazareth - A popular song from a somewhat lesser known band in the 70s. Enjoy!
Okay, so the song that inspired this card is not so much of a love song, but it is about a family and families are full of love. Therefore, a song about a family is a song about love. I don't plan on moving anytime soon, but if you do, this would make a delightful moving announcement.
House shaped brads and a tiny little street? Say it ain't so! I popped up the Doodlebug house brads with a little bit of foam for added dimension.
And, just in case you aren't familiar, the inspiration for this song is Our House by Madness.
So, which song is stuck in your head right now?
