Unique Crafters Challenge #12: Fabric and Lace

Welcome back to Unique Crafters Challenge sponsored by Scrapbook Unique!  Challenge #12: Fabric and Lace, begins on February 1 and ends at midnight (CST) on February 28.  You can link up three different projects for your chance to win a fantastic prize package!  Winners will be announced on March 5.  Be sure to read all of the fine print on the Unique Crafters Challenge blog homepage.

The minute I saw this black and white lattice fabric I knew it would be perfect for a card background.  Using a rotary cutter, I trimmed the fabric just slightly larger than the card.  I pulled a few threads from each edge to give the fabric a fringed appearance and then stitched the fabric to the card with a contrasting color.  TIP: Use a wee bit of adhesive to keep the fabric in place.

These chipboard lovlies are from Crate Paper's On Trend collection.  They contrast nicely with the black and white background.  A few sparkly rhinestones here and there give the card some nice texture.

I can't wait to see what you create for this months challenge!
